The Dubai Promenade is a development by Nakheel currently under construction located at east of the Dubai Marina. Built on an artificial self reclaimed island,the whole project is expected to be completed by 2011.Dubai promenade will cover an area of approximately 1,060,000 m2.The expected population is approximately 20,000 for Dubai Promenade with approximately 9,700 residents.

The Waterfront will run along the entire length of the Dubai Promenade and will offer many restaurants and cafes, and retail space of 26,000 for shopping.There will also be a 70-berth marina here. Dubai promenade will also encompass the iconic structure, The icon hotel which will be the second seven star hotel of Dubai, the donut shape hotel will be the first of its kind in the world. Van Oord had reclaimed the land for dubai promenade, the same company which had previously reclaimed the artificial islands of Palm Jumeirah, Palm Jebel Ali, The world islands and currently working on Palm Deira.
Land reclamation work of Dubai promenade has been completed. Construction work of the various residential towers, offices, and retail are currently in progress. The whole project will be completed in 2011.
